This bag has been great to travel with, the best purchase I made for travel, etc. ....until today. After going through four different TSA’s and being fine, today this bag was flagged. It was flagged due to a pair of “scissors” that sliced through the bottom of the bag and had a blade sticking out of it. This tool was located in between the seams of the bag and TSA had to cut the bottom of the bag to retrieve it. After some researching, this pair of scissors are a tool used to cut thread and assist in creating seams. I would still recommend this bag to anyone, but make sure you double check the “in between” layer of the bag as there is no way these scissors were placed there after purchase.I cannot say enough many good things about this backpack! Unprecedented Durability, sturdiness and comfort is a good beginning to describe it. While this is canvas material, the quality is thick and resilient, the rain didn’t even touch it. I have been using this cute workhorse to commute to work every day since I got it, and it fits all of my work stuff, electronics, 5 bottles of 16 oz water, a change of work clothes, a change of gym clothes, an umbrella and a pair of sneakers. It also carries my sunglasses, my card holders and my purses and wallets. I have been trying to figure out the catch and find a flaw for the price I paid for this beauty, and there’s NONE. I don’t know how I’ve lived life so far without it. I would have liked a trolley sleeve and a USB port, but then I’d have to pay 300% moreI bought this to carry my laptop on flights. It's perfect. My laptop fits perfectly and it has plenty of padding inside to protect it. It's comfortable too with padding on the shoulder straps.I wanted to try a cute backpack for my laptop vs the tote bag that I usually carry when commuting on the train. Like many of you there are tons of options but I wanted something simple, sturdy, cute, and neutral. I like the pink bag but I'm a sucker for army green. Unfortunately there were no pics to get a better understanding of the true color so I purchased both. I think both colors are a tiny bit more muted then the pics and videos portray. I still like the green version and plan to send this pretty in pink one back. My only complaints would be the flimsy zipper pulls and the tiny water bottle side pockets but since I dont usually carry water bottles it works well for me.This backpack is so great! I got it on sale and I love it. The pocket for the laptop is perfect and the material is very thick. I didn’t like the logo so I just took it off with some scissors and then I thought it was perfect.My last backpack was an old, dingy, military hand-me-down that, after two years, had holes, rips in the plastic, and tears that I didn’t even know you could get tears. And that was just from holding things! I’ve had this bag for a little over a year and it still feels brand new. I’ve added buttons and pins, even keychains to the straps. I’ve been able to fit just about anything I need for work or my classes. If you want something with thick material and lightweight feel, get this bag!The only issue I’ve had with this bag is the zipper. The zipper gets caught in the lining and is difficult to get it back on track. Outside of that, the bag is cute and I use it everyday for work.This backpack is amazing!!! It fits everything perfectly. It’s very comfortable on my back and doesn’t have a million pockets. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a simple and aesthetic backpack for school :)
