INSIDE of the window frame, provide finished look without hiding wood trim. 2 inches window DEPTH is needed. OUTSIDE of the window frame, mounted on your wall or mold, provide better covering. Inside Mount 1. Measure the width in top, middle, bottom inside of the window, use the narrowest width as your window width. 2. Choose Exact Window Width, we reduce 0.4" when making the shade. 3. Choose Exact Window Height, we make the shade height as window height. Outside Mount 1. Measure the window outer frame width and height. 2. Choose Exact Shade Width you need. Hang on the frame, the shade width could be same or smaller than window width. Hang on the wall, suggest at least add 3-6 inches based on the window width. 3. ③ INSIDE MOUNT: For inside mounting, the roman shade width needs to be 0.4 inch less than your window inside width for fitting, at least 2 inches window depth is required for inside mount. For example, if the window inside width and length is 30.2"Wx72"H, the roman shade size should be 29.8"Wx72"L. You can choose 30"W*72"L to place order then email us your window size and demand inside mount.
④ OUTSIDE MOUNT: For outside mounting, roman shade width and length need to be 3-10 inches larger than your window width and length for better covering, if there is enough space the bigger the better. For example, if the window width and length is 30.2"Wx64"H, we suggest the roman shade size to be 36"Wx72"L. You can choose 36"Wx72"L to place order.

I ordered three sets of these shades. Betty confirmed the measurements with me three times (and it's good she did because I had initially gotten the measurements wrong), and the shades came within two weeks. They are beyond easy to install. You just need a Phillips head screw bit. But best of all, they look beautiful. I paid around 700 for 3 rooms with shades (one very large shade in the kitchen). The shades are beautifully made, easy to install, and make my house look like it was designed by an interior designer. Thank you ArtdiX!We ordered these Roman shades for our windows at our Lakehouse. We wanted to block out the light at night and give the windows a pop of color when opened during the day. This did it. They were easy to install. They easily open and close!I prefer the metal (vs the white) pull cord as it has more weight and hangs nicer. But both are fine.Highly recommend this product!!We were unsure of sizes and these folks were super helpful all through the process!The shades are super easy to install, and they glide up and down flawlessly. They also work well to block out light, even the lighter colored shades. If there is one criticism I have it would be that I wish there were more color/design options.I was nervous about the color looking the same as it looks in the pictures. When it arrived it was exactly what I had hoped it would be.I had to send them a couple of messages about how to shorten up the cord correctly and I had an issue with one of the brackets. Some came with white plastic pull chains and some came with silver (possibly metal) pull chains. I like the silver better... Sometimes some of them had little details that I didn't think were the greatest, but over all, I still really like them! I had an issue with the assembly of the tree print one and they were fast to respond and send out the replacements! Nice to work with.Love there quality and pattern. I ordered there swatches and not the shade because I wanted to know the quality prior to ordering it.
