I actually purchased this because I wanted "tattered and torn" looking fabric to wrap around my skirt for a zombie costume. This turned out to be exactly what I had been looking for. It was absolutely perfect with the way it raveled and worked out much better than basic gauze fabric. I was able to tie it where I needed to and easily tear holes in it.
