Quictent 8x8 Waterproof Pop Up Canopy Tent with Sidewalls & Mesh Windows - Beige - Perfect for Outdoor Events, Camping, and Market Stalls

We used it this weekend and we had a light shower and the roof leaked everywhere. We were wet and cold.I like this canopy tent because it is easy to use and provides the coverage I need for the various outdoor events I participate in. I did have an issue that was readily resolved by the seller. I appreciate their responsiveness.There was a summer rain when we had the Velcro securing straps for the roof failed causing it to droop on one side and the rain filled up the plastic roof and the plastic on the frame broke and the cheap support frames bent causing the frame to break on several spots and the sharp edges to cut the canvas on one side. The top is destroyed on one side as well as 2 side panels. There was no wind. I purchased an extended warranty that told me to go back to the Vendor as the canopy was only 2 months old. The vendor, not from this country, USA, used the same saying and run around as they always do "We're sorry but we need..." What they asked for was pictures, so I provided them with pictures. They sent me a parts list to give them a list of broken or damaged items. Provided that, then they wanted more pictures. It was the typical run around from these type of vendors. I finally asked them to give me an answer if they were going to honor the warranty and they told me that the warranty does not cover weather and that it should not be exposed to water or wind. Now who buys an tent canopy that is not waterproof or cannot be used in the rain. Nowhere in the description does it say that it cannot be used in the rain but it does say "Waterproof". Buyers do not buy this product nor would I buy from this vendor. They sell junk and take your money and give you the run around when you ask them to stand behind their product only to send you away with a stupid excuse and because they are a foreign vendor you have no means of recourse. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR!!Fantastic for storage in my backyard.Parts of the steel frame broke after the first use. Unfortunately, the return period had passed. Please don't waste your money!* The quictent customer service team is very responsive, and shipped out new parts right away. [email protected] adults could NOT hang from this frame, no size humans could.It's a great pop-up tent for events or tradeshows. Super easy setup.I am certainly getting my moneys' worth attempting to use it as a full time tent (my "office" in my backyard). Starting my second season with this tent, it's been a very windy May in MA. It's barely holding on, but hopeful the new parts will keep it together at least for the rest of the summer. A previous (more expensive and much better looking) tent crumbled up into a ball in the same location, so this one is doing better ;) I think it's time for a more permanent canopy.I'm upgrading my review because the seller has been responsive and has helped ship replacement parts so I can still enjoy the tent. So far so good with the replacement frame, but still need to replace the canopy fabric (which the seller has agreed to ship). Definitely not a good first impression, but the seller has worked quickly to help make it right.Had the tent set up for about two weeks, and the frame already broke. Bought this as an upgrade from a Dicks Sporting Goods canopy that was $50.00 and lasted me for over three years!! I even had the new canopy weighted down with sandbags on the legs. There wasn't even a rain storm when it happened, just a little windy. We have a six-foot fence around our property, so we know no large animals could have somehow gotten into it. And the location of it was tucked into a corner between our sunroom and kitchen, so wind should not have been a problem!I looked at several canopies both in person & online before purchasing this. I actually even purchased a more expensive one at the store before purchasing this one, then realized I would need two for an event. After setup I can say this one was worth every penny, while the other one didn't compare in quality, durability & appearance. We like it so much we purchased a second one to have at future events! For those of you looking that the less expensive options, just let me say I saw a couple of those at the same event, they took a lot more work to set up and they looked at cheap as they were, I doubt they will last more than a couple events & that is if the wind doesn't blow to strong or rain very hard. If you want something that is not very expensive but good quality I would highly recommend this product!
