First of all, I have to stress this isn't a functional CD drive. People seem to get confused over this item. This is an external CASE for you to insert a slim cd drive into.It works, but I'm only awarding 4 stars as the instructions are terrible. I'm also not entirely sure when I should plug in the additional power cable as in the testing I've done, the drive I put in it hasn't complained of low power.
